Translation
The Council and the People have honoured Marcus Aurelius Diogenes, legatus Augustorum pro praetore, he who is just, and decent, and brave, and adorned with every virtue; the most worthy Antonius Nicomachus, father of the first archon Antonius Claudius Nicomachus, offspring of high-priests, supervised the erection of the monument.
