A large white marble slab (0.90 × 1.10 × 0.16) broken either end; the right end has been
further broken since 1893.
Description of Text
Inscribed across the centre of the face.
Description of Letters
0.03-0.07;

Date
Tenth century or later (lettering).
Edition
ἐνταῦθακεῖταιτὸλείμψανονΝικολάου
Apparatus
The last letter was read by Kubitschek, but is

apostrophe, it is presumably an abbreviation of Νικολάου rather than Νικόλα read by Cormack.
Translation
Here lie the remains of Nicolaus.
Commentary
See discussion at IX.44, and
for the phrasing, IX.39.
